  The Foundation disco will be in the morning followed by Key Stage 2 disco in the afternoon.  Children can wear their costumes to school.

• Harvest Festival 2013

  Thank you to all the parents who contributed food for the school's Harvest Festival.  The food will be donated to the Foodbank in Ely. 

  

• Welcome Back!

  I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all children and parents back to school at Glan-yr-Afon Primary.  The children are settling into their new classes and are all working hard already.  Thank you for your continued support for the school.

• Forthcoming Inset Days

• Last week of term

  We have had such an amazing last week of term: 
  
  Nursery Graduation:
  There were 2 Graduation ceremonies for the Nursery children.  They looked absolutely gorgeous and performed brilliantly!
  
  KS2 Trip to Noah's Ark:
  All of the KS2 children went to Noah's Ark.  It was a beautiful sunny day with lots of fun had by all.
  
  Nursery Sports Day:
  A great morning and afternoon of different sporting activities.  The children did us all proud and each child won so many different stickers.  Well done!
  
  Oliver Production:
  The drama club and choir performed Oliver!  What a fabulous show it was.  There are so many talented children at the school.
  
  Leavers Prom:
  A night of GLITZ!!  The year 6 children all looked stunning at their end of year prom.  Thanks to Friends of GYA for helping out.
  
  Leavers Assembly:
  There wasn't a dry eye in the school as the year 6 children said their last goodbyes.

  The children had an amazing 3 days at Atlantic College learning lots of new skills.  They all had a fun time and we were so proud of their attitude and behaviour.

  The children are having an amazing time. Not much sleep last night and some tired children this morning.  They are currently mountain boarding and climbing. So many happy smiling faces. Archery later and the disco tonight. All safe and well :-)
