• NEW ICT equipment for the children

  I am pleased to announce that the school has been able to purchase new ICT equipment for the children to use to improve their IT skills and enhance their learning.  We are now lucky owners of 10 Ipads, 10 Chromebooks (like a laptop) and 15 laptops.  Some of the costs were taken from school fundraising so THANK YOU for the support :-)

  I am pleased to announce that the new outdoor play equipment for the junior children has been installed.  Thanks for supporting many school events as all the money raised has been used to pay for this wonderful equipment for the children.  Thanks to Friends of Glan-yr-Afon for the contribution!!

• Girl's Football

  Well done to the girl's football team for your amazing efforts last Friday at the tournament at Bryn Hafod Primary School.  Even though it didn't stop raining all day, you never moaned once and played with such enthusiasm.  Great goals by Chloe and Molly too!!  I was so proud of you all.

• Family Engagement Officer

  I am pleased to announced that we now have a Family Engagement Officer at the school who is available to discuss/help with any issues that you may have at home.  Mr Ellery is available for a chat and coffee every Monday and Friday mornings from 9.30 - 10.30.  Why not join him?

  WE STILL HAVE A NUMBER OF CHILDREN  ARRIVING LATE FOR SCHOOL!MAY WE REMIND YOU THAT SCHOOL STARTS AT 9.00 a.m. PROMPT WITH SUCCESS FOR ALL LESSONS STARTING AT 9.05 a.m.  IT IS THEREFOR VITAL THAT ALL CHILDREN ARE IN SCHOOL ON TIME SO THAT THEY DO NOT MISS VALUABLE LEARNING TIME.
