Welcome to our class page! Your class teachers this year are Miss Thompson (Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri) and Mrs Hyde. Mrs Bryant will also be working with our class. We are really looking forward to lots of exciting learning experiences this year and new opportunities.

Our School Day

You need to arrive in school between 8.35-8.45am every morning, ready for the day ahead. Assembly starts at 9am every day and some of year six are responsible for preparing for assembly.

10.15-10.30am is morning break.

12.20-1.00pm is lunchtime.

3pm is home time.

Arriving on time and attending every day is really important, and will help prepare you for high school next year.

Our PE Days

Your PE day is Thursday and you need to come to school in your PE kit. PE kit is black joggers/ shorts and a white tshirt.

Autumn Term Topic- Once Upon a Crime

This term our first topic is Once Upon a Crime. We will be learning about aspects of crime solving including forensic science and visiting Techniquest to take part in a crime-lab workshop. We will answer consider important questions around what is legal and illegal and who makes those decisions. We will also be looking at the works of the famous graffiti

artist Banksy and looking at the effects that cyber crime has. 

Autumn Term 2 Topic- Step into the Spotlight

Our topic this half term is Step into the Spotlight. We will be thinking about who is in the spotlight and what this means- politicians, sportspeople, singers, actors, influencers and more. 

We will also be creating our own show including scripting, making puppets and sets, performing and recording.

Obviously as Christmas is fast approaching, we will also be getting ready for our festive show!
