PE day is Tuesday. Please come dressed in joggers, a t-shirt and trainers. 

Snack- please bring a healthy snack of fruit or vegetables each day.

Please provide your child with a drink of water in a refillable bottle. 

Please ensure all clothes and water bottles are labelled with your child's names. 

Spring 1

Our topic this term is

Out of this World

We are going to be finding out what is beyond our planet in outer space. We will be learning about our planets and why the sun is so important to us.

There will be lots of Science in this topic. We will be investigating forces, magnets and gravity.

We will be building space ships and rockets and we might even meet an alien or two.

If you have any space related books or items you would be happy to share with us then please send them in.

Autumn 2

Our topic this term is

Sparkle and Shine

This is always an exciting term because there are lots of celebrations to look forward to.

We will begin by finding out about why we celebrate Bonfire Night and we will talk about Guy Fawkes.

At the end of the term we will have our Christmas Concert so the children will probably be singing the songs at home as well as in school.

We will be investigating light and electricity and we will be reading the story The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch by Ronda and David Armitage.

Autumn 1

Our topic this term is

Incredible Me

We will be finding out about ourselves and what keeps us healthy.

We will be finding out about our bones and the function of organs like our brain and lungs.

We are going to read the book Funnybones by Janet and Allen Ahlberg. We are even going to write our own adventures for the characters.
