Linking Learning to life…….. Inspiring children for exciting futures!

The Rainbow Club

The Rainbow Club has been set up by Mr Guinee and Mrs Coleman with support from Annmarie McLoughlin and Leanne Rutter - Bryn Hafod and Gina Mountstephens and Lisa Oaten - Glan yr Afon as part of the Rainbow Federation Improvement Plan. It is designed to help parents, carers, family and friends of our schools with support and help during the current cost of living crisis affecting many families within our communities. As part of this project we have set up a new and pre-loved uniform swap shop, provided toys to families during the Christmas period; given football boots and equipment to our teams and plan to do much more. In the forthcoming weeks and months we plan to run regular Tea and Toast drop in sessions for parents and carers, regular uniform exchange and providing advice and guidance on food bank vouchers and additional support. We are keen to hear from parents and carers about ideas that this Rainbow Club can help support our communities further and all ideas are welcomed. You can contact the Rainbow Club for uniform, information, help or if you’d just like a chat by emailing – rainbowclubCDF@gmail.com or by direct message on Twitter via @RainbowClub_CDF

Please come to our launch of Tea and Toast on the 6th February 2023 in the breakfast club halls of Bryn Hafod and Glan yr Afon 9am – 9.30am.
