Croeso i Flwyddyn 3 Dosbarth Porffor!
Welcome to Year 3 Class Purple!
Our Class Teacher is Miss Sheedy, and we will be supported by Mrs Scammell.
Miss Brooks will be covering PPA.
Start and Finish Times
Our school day starts at 8.45am, and finishes at 3pm.
Snack and Lunch
Please provide a healthy snack for your children to enjoy during their morning break time.
All children currently need to bring a packed lunch to school until our new School Kitchen is complete. Please can children also bring a labelled water bottle to school that they can refill throughout the day. Please avoid fizzy drinks or energy drinks.
Physical Education / Addysg Grofforol
Our PE day this year is a Monday. Please can all children come to school wearing their PE Kits and trainers every Monday.
We hope to get the children outside as much as possible for their PE sessions so please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather.
Reading at home with your child is absolutely vital. Just 5-10 minutes a day can make a world of difference. Children will have access Collins eBooks which is an online tool that allows the teachers to share books for the children to read at home. If you are having trouble logging in, please let Miss Sheedy know. We will also be reading with each child in the class at least once a week.
It is really important to record any reading you do with your child at home in their reading records so we can get an insight in to how they have got on. Please return the book to school when your child has finished reading it so we can re-allocate a new book.
